How to get there

From Townsville you have to catch the ferry with Sealink that depart every hour. it takes about 20 min.

If you are bringing your car over you have to book the barge in advance with Magnetic Island Ferry. It takes about 40 min. Access magnetic Island Ferry website here.

 

You will arrive in Nelly bay. from there you can catch the 250 bus or drive on the main road to Horseshoe bay. Taxi services are also available but the waiting time might be long especially during the busy season.
